Ashley, it's good that you care so much for everyone's feelings involved, but just remember, these are guys, they can take it. Besides, they knew when they signed up for this that disappointment was a possibilty. That's what comes with dating. It can be a real chore but in the end it is so worth it. Thank you for letting us share this experience with you, best of luck!

Like I said, the camera loves Rudd. I like the idea of him being the next Mormon Bachelor. Not a good fit with Ashley; that's pretty obvious. But someone is out there for Rudd. Wouldn't that be fun to see!

Make Rudd the next Mormon Bachelor.

Obviously Rudd paid more attention to the camera than Ashley...I actually found it kind of annoying! Team Jace all the way!

UHHH...what? That was just weird. There Rudd is feeling great about himself and the date, then all of a sudden here comes Ashley's interview in two complete extremes.

I personally liked the first half of Ashley's post date interview because it was real...thank you for putting it in there. Even though it was a little bipolar to see the two parts side by side, it was nice to see what she was really thinking and feeling.

I'm sure it's hard for Ashley to have her feelings splattered all over the internet, but I guess that's what you sign up for when your on any type of dating show.

I think Rudd is amazing and I want her to chose him because I like him, but I am pretty sure she doesn't appreciate him or really mesh with him. So, I hope she ends up with Aaron and that Rudd dates my friend that I want to set him up with who would be perfect for him!

I know Rudd from college. He's one of the funniest dudes I know. Ashley's obviously not that into him. My vote goes for Rudd as the next Mo Bach.

Yeah, I'm not surprised by Ashley's reaction to Rudd. I think he pretty much forced the kiss. Ashley shouldn't feel bad about not liking him in that way. When there just isn't the chemistry, you can't force it. I'm sure there is someone for Rudd. But if he were to become the next Bachelor on this I wouldn't watch. He is way too goofy.

Tristen why is it so important to kiss right away?

I like Rudd! Personally he seems like he'd be an awesome husband. Smart, considerate of others, fun, spiritual, cute. What's not to be excited about? I would love him as the next Mormon Bachelor. And for those of you who think he's too goofy...do you not remember Rick? But Rudd is more real and more fun!

I feel so bad that he has to see Ashley's reaction though. My husband and I talked about it for a second and I thought he brought up an interesting point. Ashley said she didn't like to do things unless it was planned and she likes to be in control. Not only was the kiss something she did not plan but I'm guessing it made her feel out of control of the situation. I bet that more than anything unsettled her. But we'll never know because Ashley never tells us what's really going on because she tries to hard to look perfect all the time. Sorry Ashley, but it's true!

I agree that Rudd would be a good guy for the next bachelor, I think he would tone down the goofyness a little, he was just trying to let Ashley get a feel for who he was, maybe break the ice a little. I love how she discribed him as someone from a Jane Austen novel, I can totally see what she means by it, and I agree. He would make some girl really happy! (maybe not Ashley though :)

Yeah, why push a kiss on the 2nd date? Also, Rudd reminds me of Rick Buck. You should have someone completely different for the next Mormon Bachelor...and so sad when Ashley started to cry, she seemed stresses-so good luck Ashley!

I agree with the idea of having Rudd as the next Bachelor. It would be a GREAT show!

I just thought of it, Rudd is like Mr. Bingley from Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice!" You gotta help him find his Jane!

Ashley, I disagree with Caity. I find you so genuine. I feel like you've shared so much of what you're thinking in your interviews. What you're doing is far from easy! Especially spilling your emotion here for all of us to see. Thanks for bringing us on this journey with you!

Kisses are something you GIVE . . . not take! I was REALLY turned off by Rudd's kiss and then that he explained it that way in the post-date interview. I think he has a lot going for him and he's a fun, spiritual guy, but he's still got a few things to learn! Don't take anything from another person--especially if they don't know about it. You caught Ashley off-gaurd and the move was selfish! Love is NOT selfish!

Em (I'm assuming) how fun that you commented on my comment! I'm glad we can agree to disagree. If I were commenting as Ashley's friend I would have said the exact same thing. In fact, in the past I have said much the same thing as you. I, in no way, think this would be easy AT ALL! I really admire Ashley for putting herself out there for all the world to scrutinize. I wouldn't have the guts.

But since I'm commenting as a viewer, I do wish she would let go of her "put together" persona and let the emotions flow! Drama sells and it's fun (for us, not her) and it makes her more likeable. One minute she's looking like she ran over bambi and refuses to even share what's going on in her head. THe next second she's all smiles and talking like Judd and the whole date was awesome. Clearly we didn't get the full story. BUT, some of that could be editing. And I don't blame her for not wanting the world to see her in a light that she may feel is less than appealing. Take care!
