What do you want to be when you grow up?: I am realizing that when I was young I thought grown-ups had their life together and always knew exactly what they wanted to do and why. Now that I am kind of a "grown-up" I am realizing that my dreams and visions for the future are constantly changing and evolving. Right now I am doing one of my dream jobs, studying and managing plants, soils, and streams for the Bureau of Land Management. In the future, depending on where life takes me, I could see myself possibly pursuing a law degree and working as an environmental lawyer. Whenever the opportunity comes my way to be a mother I am also excited and look forward to raising children! So, what do I want to be when I grow up...who knows where life will take me, but I want to always have joy and feel fulfilled in whatever I am doing.
Why do you want to date Kent?: Kent is a catch!! He is serious about finding someone to share his life with, and I get the impression that he is the type of guy I am looking for. It is hard to know if you would hit it off with someone without meeting them, but I think that Kent and I have some good things in common. He is driven and motivated, he is spiritual, keeps an eternal perspective, loves being active and adventurous, and family is important to him. I am looking forward to the opportunity of getting to know him better, to see if our personalities are as compatible as our life goals and values. :)

Mellissa is a great catch!! I'm not just saying that because she is my niece. I have watched her grow up from the time she was born. She has gone from a sweet girl I used to babysit to a wonderful woman and friend. Mellissa knows when to be serious and when to let loose and have fun. You have to know how to have fun with the large extended family we have!! She has endured many tough things in her life and come through them with strength and grace. She loves my kids and family means the world to her!

Mellissa is one of the most amazing girls you will ever meet! It is hard to keep from smiling whenever she is around; her joy for life is contagious! I have been impressed by Mellissa ever since we met in college. She is full of happiness and has an adventuresome spirit. She is such a caring and independent individual. Mellissa deserves all the happiness in the world and I hope she and Kent hit it off!
